by jen101
(CT)

Ingredients

*3 cups meltled caramel (best if homemade)
*1/2 cup almonds (raw)
*1 1/2 cups peanuts
*1 1/2 - 2 cups milk or dark chocolate chunks
*1/2 cup crispy rice cereal

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place almonds on a cookie sheet. Slightly toast almonds until they're a little darker. Mix around frequently. About 4 - 5 minutes. Chop almonds into fine bits; but not powdery.

2. In a medium saucepan, add chocolate pieces; Stirring constantly to make sure candy doesn't burn. Let bubble over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat, and add crispy rice. Stir until well coated.

3. Pour melted caramel into a small bowl. Add peanuts. Pour mixture into 3" by 1" molds. Let cool. On a cookie sheet covered with wax paper, place caramel bars. Pour chocolate mixture over bars, and sprinkle with almond bits. Set in cool area, or even in the fridge. Then serve. Enjoy!
