Candy Thermometers

Candy thermometers are great kitchen utensils to help make your candy making even easier! The most accurate method of testing for the stage of the hot mixture is to use a thermometer, and we have a great selection to meet all of your cooking needs.

When making your sweet treats, always use a thermometer that is designed for candy making. It should have a clip to secure it to the side of the pan to keep it off the bottom of the pan.

It is also a good idea to check the accuracy of your thermometer. You can do this by placing it in a pan of boiling water for a few minutes before reading. If it reads 212 degrees in boiling water it is accurate. If it reads above or below 212 degrees, add or subtract the difference as needed.
