My name is Sheila and this page is about me! I am so happy that you have found my web site and hope that you are enjoying the homemade candy recipes.
Collecting homemade candy recipes and learning how to make candy has been a passion of mine for many years. It is a pleasure to share some of my favorite candy recipes with you and it is my hope that you and your family will enjoy these recipes as much as we have.
Welcome to the Real World
In “real life” I am a registered nurse working in surgery. Although I do love my work and taking care of my patients, I am also looking forward to semi-retirement in a few years and taking a little time for myself. Unfortunately, you still need to pay the bills and buy the groceries!
One day while searching for some information online I stumbled across a great web site and discovered that it had been built using a program called
"Site-Build-It."
I spent a good bit of time exploring the site and checking out the great information that I found. I was really impressed with the site and filed away the name “Site-Build-It.”
A Couple of Wasted Years Later
Jump forward a couple of years to the present. I began to think about me and my future and I started looking for a way to make some extra income for that great retirement dream. That’s when I remembered the web site building program that I had seen. I still had it saved in my favorites file so I started to check it out more thoroughly and never looked back!
What did I know about building a web site – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Thankfully Site-Build-It has the greatest tools and guides so that even I could build a site. I studied all the information and watched the amazing
case studies
over and over until I decided “if they can do it, so can I!!!” Being able to use my hobby of collecting recipes to make some extra income was the perfect combination for me.
I Actually Built a Web Site!!
And “do it” I have. Has it been work? Yes, but nothing that is worth something comes easily. The one thing that impressed me about Ken Envoy and SBI was that they never pretended that there would not be a lot work. This is no “get rich quick scheme,” this is a business that you build over time. But has it been fun? Yes!!! I have taken something that I love to do and turned it into a business, and so can you.
