How to Make Truffles Video

Decandent Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:

10 oz semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped (use good quality chocolate)

1 cup heavy cream

4 Tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)

1 Tbsp light corn syrup

Coatings: 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, chopped chocolate chips, coconut, powdered sugar, sprinkles, cookies crumbles, graham cracker crumbs

Directions:

1. Melt chocolate in large microwave safe bowl at medium heat. Stir every minute until most of chocolate is melted.

2. Place cream in saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over choclate, stirring until the mixture is thick and smooth.

3. Stir in the butter 1 Tbsp at a time, stirring gently until smooth and shiny. Stir in the corn syrup.

4. Line an 8x8 pan with plastic wrap and add the mixture. Press the plastic wrap against the chocolate and place in refrigerator until mixture is firm, about 2 hours.

5. When mixture is firm, scoop out rounded teaspoons of the chocolate and form into balls. Roll truffles into your favorite coatings.

6. Place the finished truffles on lined baking sheet and return to refrigerator until firm. Best served chilled
